My work intends to create an imaginary world or story that is based in the sad reality of our disappearing natural environment. The animals are both myth based and the result of multi-fauna combinations. They are meant to feel like the pages from a diary of an explorer. Even if they don’t look like something from our existing natural world, they have a familiarity, which gives us comfort.
